Ancient Relic

I feel that this piece of fractal art is a significant improvement over my previous works, in a bunch of ways. It's the first animation to actually incorporate a gradually changing variation, to be precise the Linear value of one of the many transforms in this one is changed by a sinus pulse, I think what it does should be evident.
Creating this thingy was a lot more fun than the previous things as well.
Also you might try to figure out in which directions the elements rotate, there is a strong element of optical illusion to this one. You can read what's happening at the bottom of this description.
